Austria is a country in Central Europe and Danubian Europe. The country is surrounded by Czech Republic, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Liechtenstein, Slovakia, Slovenia and Switzerland. The country’s capital is Vienna, Vienna is the main city of Austria and one of the nine states of Austria. Austria is world’s 115th country with 83,872 km square total area. According to 2008 estimate, the country has 8,316,487 population, ranking 93rd in the world. Austria is divided into nine states and each state is divided into districts and cities. Being located on Alps, the country is a largely mountainous. Austria is one of the 10 richest countries in the world in terms of GDP (Gross domestic product) per capita. The country has a well-developed social market economy, and a high standard of living.
